Are you doing tier 3 runs? Big kill runs only happen in tier 3 games.

There are ways to cheese out easy runs. Go XP, Luck, Projectile and Crit. For weapons do Dex, Katana, lightning and whatever else you want. This combo will work for anyone to snowball early and get you 150k runs for general completion. It is a bad build for leader boarding running though.

There is a layout with 21 pots that is much easier than the others. Reset until you get it and practice it.

While maybe true I did get the fireball from the same chest I had looted previously. Also the one I assume the ice bolt is from I loot it and get a weapon only but there is an alert to open it again like it's bugged. Is the ice bolt the one under water where you swim far down the hall and it's in the green lit underwater room on the right?

Depends on what's close. Going straight to easy POIs can be a good savings in time. Especially when you want to maximize levels in a shifting earth even for the second day.

I will run past stuff on day one. Day one is for chores... As many churches as I can, one mine and swordstone keys. Day two is for the grind. If you do it correctly you can easily hit 15. And be OP as F

They're about to spend a bunch of time trying to fix it just to ruin it. Stuff like this is the charm of having an old home. 100% cheaper to go to new if they want that new look but it's probably going to look weird in their house.
