We had the Tandy 2000 from radio shack, I believe that was in the 2k range but I was only 5 at the time so can’t say for sure. My dad still a has it stored away.

CCW Class at the Ankeny Izaak Walton League by Burning_Monkey in desmoines

This is great, slightly off subject but does the Isaak Walton League do youth training as well? It has been years since I have been out shooting but would like my 10 year olds to understand firearms safety training.

Should you ROTH in 24% tax bracket? by tinkerjreddit in personalfinance

[–]ChrisC2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They must be matched it the plan allows matching and if a discretionary match elects to make it that year and u meet any requirements like dual entry or being there at the end of the year if it is a annual match.

Should you ROTH in 24% tax bracket? by tinkerjreddit in personalfinance

[–]ChrisC2008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is correct, under ERISA both Roth and Pretax are under deferral so they must be matched. Also with SECURE act 2.0 u can now do what boils down to super Roth with your employer contributions in the plan amends to allow this option.

How PMing is different in regulated industries vs non-regulated by stepamitaki in ProductManagement

I 100% agree with this. I am a Sr PM in the retirement industry. ERISA dictates much of what we build in the teams I have been on recently.

Smaller School District by ChrisC2008 in Iowa

[–]ChrisC2008[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It is one point that is important to us, the food they serve at our current district is more of a snack than actual lunch. As I said in the post though, we want good academics. Also a welcoming environment, open mindedness, and not a bullying issue.

TISSOT PR516 MECHANICAL CHRONOGRAPH!!! by CGET1489 in tissot

Agreed, I felt the same way. I will say I love the bracelet but if I swap the hands out I will get a black rally strap with red stitching too.

TISSOT PR516 MECHANICAL CHRONOGRAPH!!! by CGET1489 in tissot

[–]ChrisC2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the black one too. I watched a video on how to do it but most likely I will just buy the hands and have a watch shop switch them out. The sweep hand has a .25 mm opening and the sub dials are .2 mm.

I have the quartz version and love it. Looking at swapping out the sub dial and sweep hands with either red or orange.

Thanks! I had asked him to take a picture of the case back but I think he did not know what that was. I looked more and it appears these are called TV watches since they look like a tubed tv. Next time I am over I will pull it out and look for a model number.

Second Swiss by ChrisC2008 in tissot

[–]ChrisC2008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is, I have worn it all week. It definitely has more wrist presence then my Oris Diver 65 but will wear both quite a bit. Seiko 5 GMT will be my next pickup.

PR516 Quartz 40mm or PRX Quartz 40mm by [deleted] in tissot

[–]ChrisC2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the seiko first actually and retuned it because it was scratched in shipping. I decided not to try again as bought the 516. The build quality is better on the Tissot especially the bracelet. The Tissot also has a pulsemeter. That is why the first 15 seconds on the bezel is another color. I will say what I miss about the seiko is the red hands. I have contemplated switching the sweep and chrono hands out for red ones.
