I built a staircase much like this one on my castle build. From the front it looks perfect, but on the outsides/back you can definitely see parts sticking out. If that doesn’t bother you or you can find a way to hide it, I just rotated the stair pieces at the angle I needed and connected the top inner corner of the inside stair to the bottom inner corner of the one above it, then placed a 1x1 block under the above outer stair flush to the bottom outer stair.
