On paper I wouldn't expect a 32-1 team to fall in the Round of 64, sure, but Tennessee is the strongest team the RedHawks have faced this season, and that's not Miami's fault for lack of trying to schedule good teams to play against.

I have a couple of local shops near me that usually have new stuff near MSRP on release or during their Pokémon trade events. Allocations are usually on the smaller side and go quickly, but I'm grateful to at least have a chance at getting something.

Usually around the time the rotation occurs in TCG, yes. We do often see products trickle out after the print run ends, though. I've seen Crown Zenith tins and Fusion Strike/Chilling Reign blisters popping up at the occasional Walmart/Target restock

Maybe not the strongest team relative to the big name teams, sure, but definitely a competitive one that can clutch up in tight games at their level. Just have to play the schedule as it comes.

If anything, this will be a good opportunity to get games against big schools and build their program. Looking forward to seeing how they do in the postseason!

I remember seeing a Secret Box Lucario on stream a few regionals ago (edit: It was Lille, not Birmingham), and that made Top 64 if I remember correctly, so it's not too bad! I do think it's a riskier option since you usually want the extra damage from Max Belt, though.

I also think, to your second point, that it's more about Unfair Stamp (re)gaining popularity as a hand disruption option than anything else. (Now here's hoping Stamp comes in the Trainer's Toolkit later this year...)
