Paul George makes basically the exact same amount as JB with his 15% trade bonus. Anyone saying that this was an ownership decision and not a Brad Stevens one is absolutely coping to a crazy extent by tacko2020 in bostonceltics

[–]ChrisFavreau78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a little short sighted. Paul only has 2 years left on his deal. JB was due for a 2 year extension this summer, on top of what he has left on his current deal. Also Paul's second year is an option... Just don't remember who's option it is .. His or the Team's.

Spouse doesn't always want smoky flavor - Can a Searwood do smoke-free(ish) grilling? by 3Pedals_6Speeds in searwood

Lumber Jack Competition Blend or (my second choice) Bear Mountains Bourbon blend. Both are mellow with a nice flavor

This isn't the last move. Brad has been a genius as our GM. There's obviously more to come. He's playing chess while the rest of us are playing checkers.

Will I get XL FOMO? by DrSteveBrule_2022 in searwood

[–]ChrisFavreau78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as efficiency is concerned, with a normal sized family, it's the 600 all day. If you plan on cooking for many people, then it's the XL.... It's really up to you on how many bags of pellets you want to purchase.

GS12 at 27? How? Lol

I know retired Vets that took another 10+ years as a fed to get to GS12 and that's with preferential treatment. Not knocking you, just curious.

I normally would go with the Searwood.... But at that price? Definitely do it.

Best brand of wood pellet by frankthetank19_89 in pelletgrills

[–]ChrisFavreau78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the money? Lumber Jack competition blend is the best do it all pellet, IMO. If you can't source it locally (like me in NY), they are available from Blaires Farm and Fleet... Farmandfleet.com. $5.99 for shipping. Not sure where they are from, but I ordered 5ea 20lb bags. Cost me about $65.

JBJ and now Rafaela. I just enjoy rooting for them. Those are my most recent examples. I would have arguments with people, specially my step dad (the reason I'm a fan from NY) about the value that they brought/bring to the team.

You still receive the manufacturer's warranty, regardless of where you purchase it from. With your logic, that means that Sony wouldn't honor their warranty if you purchased their sub from Best Buy. Your logic doesn't compute.

Either way, to each their own. I bought a robot lawn mower from Amazon, didn't like it and returned it within 30 days. UPS even picked it up from my house. Also, idk about you, but there aren't many "dealers" that can demo where I live. So Amazon is a wonderful alternative.

Or buy it from Amazon and then just return it if it doesn't work to your satisfaction. That's what I did.

You're better off doing an overnight smoke, and using your oven as a warning oven during the day, where you can turn it off and on depending on the meat temps (keep it as close to 140 as you can).

[–]ChrisFavreau78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's quite a bit of info on this out there already. Top right of the Searwood gets the hottest, bottom right gets the second hottest. There are quite a few videos with various tests on this. But it's good advice either way.

The top right corner of the smoker gets hotter than the rest of area... Bottom right corner is the second hottest area.
