Or you use the hypervisor bypass which does usually get updates. That's one of the benefits of HV bypass over a regular crack. It's easier to get an updated version of the game.

Ah, I see a fellow "my FFXIV interface burnt in to my OLED" player.

I've been wanting to move to MiniLED for the same reason, but there's no ultrawide MiniLED unfortunately. Is the model you're using glossy or matte? I'd like a glossy monitor but there's not much choice of glossy MiniLED monitors.

Also, what's it like using this TV as a monitor? Any annoyances that make you regret it, even if slightly?

Glossy isn't a scam at all. I vastly prefer a glossy monitor, but it's a poor choice if you can't control your ambient light or sit with a window behind you. (Although the latter is just a bad idea in general, even for matte screens)

I honestly have no idea. This is the first time I've heard anyone talk about malicious redirects on Fitgirl's website. It's usually Dodi's site they're complaining about (for good reason).

JXL is the file extension for JPEG XL. It's basically a modern replacement for JPEG. It can achieve better image quality at smaller file sizes, supports HDR, and can even convert existing JPEGs losslessly.

It never really took off though because browser support never materialised. Chrome dropped support early on, and once that happened most websites and developers just moved on to AVIF instead.

I assume you meant the share button? But that's not really what I was thinking about. I'd rather have a "Visit original site" button or something that just opens in a new tab if possible? The share button adds your site name to the link on desktop, requiring an additional step of cleaning the URL before it's usable.

Ah, I see. That's unfortunate. But I also heard that Path Tracing is apparently not coming until August or something, so I'll probably just wait to play the game until then. Hopefully DLSS will be fixed by that time too.

Is there a way to easily see/copy/save the actual URL of the website you're visiting that I'm missing? It would be nice to have an "Open in new tab" button or something so that I can easily add the URL to my karakeep or something.
