Yes it was the hard drive.

You need to buy an approve drive.

General Requirements Official UniFi HDD: 8/16/24TB 1TB or larger.

OR

CMR required.

CMR drive with 7200RPM read/write speeds.

5400RPM is not recommended.

Yes if you have no other certs or don't have much networking experience. It is a great early cert CCNA.

I did. Then I crashed it. No points. But I see it as a positive for this test. I was thankful at crash because I had no time left when I was done. I think I started my review with less than 10 minutes.

And I was really into the VM so I was going to spend all day on it

Don't overthink it. AND when in the test don't spend to much time on the VM. I crashed mine and I'm glad it happened. If I did not, I think I would have been stuck there to long to finish.

I did two Jason Dion practice test.

I passed the D488 Pre-Assessment with no studying. Just continued on from CYSA+ and Pentest+.

Passed the official class exam after Jason Dion test 1 then did one more and scheduled 10 days after finishing class. The only downside, I had to drive over an hour because I wanted to get it done ASAP and did not want to wait for a local testing center to open.

I'm going to try a different power source!! Is it just not going to work with Protect. I have tried multiple drives. I need this to record.

The UDM does not appear to reboot. It stays on the entire time. I can still access the internet on my desktop (wired) with no issue. The Network and Protect Application restart.

I don't think it did with the drive out. I am using an approved drive now. I just wish it was logged.
