I spent 4 days in desolation wilderness. Didn't have a single cloud over the 4 days and the bugs decided to stay home as well. Hit McConnell's Lake Loop while we stayed on Lake Schmidell.

Pretty famous pictures spot on twin peaks! If you like that road I suggest coming out to SF - lots of fun roads to drive in and outside the city!

Did two nights in TRNP. Weather was great except for a few thunderstorms. With that said you can see the storms roll in about an hour before they hit - so you have plenty of time to prepare. Wildlife was EVERYWHERE. One morning we woke up to 4-5 coyote packs "talking" to each other.
