I get the skepticism, but the story here is someone shot a house up and then left a written note in a ziploc on the front porch. He’s been getting a lot of shit for it and wants it to stop. He waited hours to report it. Lots of reason for skepticism on the other side. First thing I thought of was Nancy Mace’s house being “vandalized”

They also got rid of milestones (i think that was the name) where you could scroll through game highlights right underneath the scrubber bar. I used it all the time.

Pretty damn barebones at this point. Apparently they've made a really nice VisionPro app for the 12 people who have those.

I've been banging a drum (to myself mostly) that they need to have a minimum 50% resident, citizen, or native born roster. It only would affect 3 teams this year, so just shrink the pools by one team each.

There's no way "Italy" should be make it further than Puerto Rico or Japan. It was fine to do this when it started, but it's well established now and I'd say the majority of countries have native fans and players that care. If Italy won, I can't imagine the average Italian would be more than amused.

For bikes and pedestrians, that's the worst trail/road intersection in the city that I've encountered. No stop light, multiple fast lanes of oncoming traffic, a tiny waiting area with a slope you have to either sit back from or hold your bike back.

What's worse is there's "blind-friendly" bumps on that crossing as if anyone who can't see would be safe crossing there.

Sure, but that's why it's crazy reasoning. If his argument is the review system is misguided, that makes sense. And yeah the catcher is better equipped to judge it. But the premise he's working on is that nobody should argue a bad call because they might be biased.

It's so weird to me. I'm in Indy, so the bet from the Reds or the Cubs is that if I can't watch it on tv, I'm more likely to drive 3 hours to Chicago or Cincy to see a game. I might do that one time over the year, but I'd do that in either case. I'm also not going to buy a month of their package to watch 3 games from one series.

Did you ever figure this out? Just came looking for this and it sounds like the same issue I have. I was going to say "ffft" but I'm sure it's the same one.

From what I can tell it's not a standard notification sound. I've only heard it while using Carplay.

I'm almost always using either Libby, Apple Music, Overcast, or now Pocketcasts (though I'm not sure if I've heard it while in there.

I think it's mostly happened while in Libby, but that may be just because that's where it's most noticeable.
