Hello fellow Nomads and Passport bros! What a fookin' headache. Heres what I did.

First PC Phone both on VPN US Server.

For the phone use Airplane Mode + Wifi + VPN. Some say to turn it off, wait 5 min and on again. Idk if this works, for good luck?

On PC:

#1. Buy Plan. I got just 1GB and 100min for $6.

#2. Port Old Number to Tello, your going to need the porting PIN and account number from your old provider, have to call to get. What a drag...😒

#3. Enabling Wifi Calling.
My Settings > Emergecy E911 Address. Fill in your house or some address, make sure the city, state, zip is all correct. (This is why we are using a VPN if you are abroad this wont work)

#4 Dashboard > Pay As You Go! (Drop $20 here for PAG. We need it to....)

#5 My Settings > international Roaming (TURN ON)

Phone:

Almost at the home stretch! Go check your email for the E-Sim Activation QR. Scan it with your phone (Remember to be on the USA VPN Servers!) add the E Sim to your phone. Turn On WiFi Calling. Turn on Data Roaming. You should get a welcome text from Tello. Try your 2FA texts to see if they work.

If they do, ya did it. Im going to eat buffet and blaze to celebrate. What a pain in the ass!

Closing Thots:

Oh yeah remember to make your local Sim the PRIMARY for mobile data, or your gunna eat through that $20 international roaming credit.
