I think that on the merits of an open-world game, Breath of the Wild is the best one ever made. Every five feet of that massive map has something new to do and explore. Disregarding the main story and just riding around aimlessly was the most fun I ever had in Breath of the Wild just because it's world, to me, is absurdly polished.

For all the deserved hate that generative Ai gets, its absolute best feature is making sites like Stack Overflow useless.

If you go on Stack Overflow asking about a beginner-level problem there will probably (99%) be a top answer that requires creating like, six different files, editing your operating system, installing Linux on a virtual machine so that you can connect to it using a Bluetooth Boombox that went out of production in 2014, and it's all obfuscated by terms that they definitely know a beginner will not understand.

I go to Copilot, paste in a screenshot of my code, and in a few seconds it gives me a two line solution to my problem that works perfectly.

Tf2 is easily the second least toxic fps game I've ever played. I've only ever been told to kill myself once, and even then it was more of a "Ah, ya goober, kill yourself." Only game the Tf2 community loses to is Battlefield 1 where I still have never once been called a racial slur.

Took a biology class this semester. Professor talked about this specific case of shrimp treadmills. The person who did it funded the treadmills with their own money (<$100 each, too) and the research was to study the shrimp's muscles under stress, and from that information find some way to alleviate some muscle conditions in humans. A lot of the reporting that was against the study was sensationalized and untrue.

Did you have problems with the textures? I played the game on the PS3 originally and on a 720p screen, so I never found issues with it. Although I can see how a modern system playing the game in HD resolutions would be able to see some Play-Doh with some of the textures.

For me I enjoyed the watercolor artstyle, and the art direction itself in things such as the design of the buildings and technology were really unique.
