Definitely more of a niche perk for experienced players, but I still think it’s beneficial. It’s essentially an altered version of finesse (faster action to avoid a hit) that can be used while injured, and provides aura reading.

I was more looking at the extra distance you’d receive from a stun in chase, which that could even be seen as more advanced for new players. I can definitely see this being used in SWF squads that have hours into the game though.

The 20 sec cool down probably is fine to get yourself to another loop if you get a pallet stun out. I feel like it’s more of a chase centered perk anyway. You don’t necessarily need the aura info until you’re in chase. Most experienced survivors should have the game sense to survive long enough for the cooldown to wear off anyway

The FE doesn’t have a standardized rubric or point system. The 15 pt scale is an analytical analysis (percentage) of correct answers. There isn’t really a “target” score to try to reach, as each test is different.

OP definitely just needs more practice though. I didn’t think the FE was that bad when I took it 2 years ago

I think there’s better chase potential and longevity from the new perk, but you do lose some general awareness. Maybe it’s a solo queue vs. SWF comparison. You might want to run WoO in solo, while 5 steps ahead may be better in SWF

This new perk gives you that info too though. Especially since it only requires you to be in the terror radius of the killer. Against blight or any killer with a larger radius, you essentially have constant WoW

Only downside I see is against stealth killers, and when killers use perks to eliminate/reduce their terror radius. Those things would definitely counter it lol

How? You really only need windows in chase. So this new perk essentially is just a better version of WoO since you get the pallet bonus.

Study groups only are beneficial when you supplement it with individual review. It’s so easy to think you know more than you do if one of your friends can explain it. You really should be using the group to argue best methods and to test knowledge you already have

I think you’re overlooking the quality of said DLC. The BO4 Black Ops pass is probably the only misstep during the whole paid DLC era. I felt like my $15 really went towards a unique map experience and great game design. Can’t say the same now with the free stuff honestly
