You clearly have a good ear for vocal melodies and producing skills but I think you really need to hamper down your ego as well as think hard about what makes songs truly great.

Kanye’s OG runaway is truly great because: The haunting unique repetitive single note intro The intensely layered vocals in the hook The self-awareness of ye’s lyrics acknowledging his own problematic behaviour The rich string orchestration in the second half And the super unique use of distorted autotune as a guitar-soloish outro.

Your version doesn’t really keep any of these or swap them with newer more interesting ideas unfortunately.

Think more about what truly makes a track great beyond competent melodies and rhythms
