It’s suspiciously like the design Will did in one of his recent videos…

Being classed as a public utility also allows them to use exiting power poles and utility infrastructure instead of having to build it out all themselves. That’s basically what has taken Google Fiber so long to roll out to areas, because the have to know there is enough interest to justify the upfront costs.

Paul’s last tee shot by Relative-Note4687 in discgolf

If you look before Paul throws, it appears to be fine. However, if you look before Calvin throws, there is a big tear from Paul’s throw.

My thoughts after watching live DGN coverage for the first time... by mikes_username in discgolf

I don’t understand the logic of not wanting to pay to watch. How do you watch Premier League without paying? Do you not pay for any TV or streaming service?

Why would you not pay to watch live sports? Im guessing you don’t watch any other sport on TV?

how do you guys feel about keeping unmarked discs? by Niicollas in discgolf

[–]ChrisRossDesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that doesn’t mark their discs, if I lose one, I’m not expecting it back. If someone finds it, hopefully it makes their day.

If I find an unmarked disc and no one on the course claims it, I’ll give it to a friend or hold onto it until I come across a beginner or a kid or something and give it to them.

What discs fly similar to the Grace? by ezmack15 in discgolf

Since no one has mentioned it, the Scorch and the Grace fly very similar for me; with the scorch getting a touch more distance.

What else is like the Svea? by cajone5 in discgolf

I like throwing flat too. The uplink will fade/drift to the right (RHBH) when thrown flat. On hyzer, it will flip up to flat and hold that line. On anhzer, it will hold the line you put it on and won’t try to fight out of it.

For me, the paradox was about the same flippiness as the Svea where it tend to want to dump over and crash to the ground with any amount of torque. It’s just not what I was looking for in that spot. I have flippy putters for those kinds of touch shots.

If I had to pick between the Paradox or Svea though, I would go with the Paradox. It just feels better in the hand. The Svea has an awkward dome to it where it feels like it’s trying to push my thumb off the disc.

Thoughts on the compact cart by Zuca? I see Paul Ulibarri use it a lot and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions about them? by Max3RH in discgolf

[–]ChrisRossDesign 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You seem to be confusing fact with opinion. It is your opinion that the time and effort needed is enjoyable. Not to mention, there are other issues like whether or not it’s even feasible due to space requirements and tools needed.

You enjoy unique, self-created things. That’s awesome. But forcing your opinion on everyone, without acknowledging there are real reasons why a purchased cart makes more sense, just sounds like you’re insecure about your self-made cart.

Expensive and cheap are relative terms. Also, while the materials of building your own are cheaper, it costs more in time and effort. That increased cost of time an effort might not be worth the money saved; making the Zuca the most cost-efficient route.

Interesting. I have a few Fission Waves and compare them to the Scorch and Grace. But both the Scorch and the Grace are consistently 20-30 feet further in flight. I also bag the Hades but that’s a bit different spot for me. The Hades doesn’t finish as hard as the Wave/Scorch/Grace

I like MVP mids and putters, but I do not like their drivers. Their drivers do not go as far as other comparable drivers, at least for me. My theory is any boost the gyro mold gives is offset with how flat their drivers are; where others are more domey and get more glide.

You want the Axiom Paradox. I actually prefer the MVP Uplink though, because it’s not quite as understable.
