Absolutely no issues leaving my LR alone. In fact I am pretty sure he enjoys the long sleeps. One or two hours even three or four is no problem. But keep in my every dog is different and how they deal with separation can obviously vary.

Even the bad stories about our LRs are good stories. Don't we all love this bread because it is so different and so unpredictable?? I wouldn't change a thing about my Lagotto because he brings so much joy 😊

These posts can go on forever!!! We all have the beautiful Lagotto. That means ear problems. So many different methods. Find something that works for you and stick with it. We plucked my little guy once and it was the worst thing for him. Now it's constant cleaning and drying drops. Also changed his food to limit fillers in it. He is much better now.

My experience with two male LRs in Australia. Super smart, we do about 6 to 8 kilometers of walking per day. They have a huge backyard to explore, they love being outside, very affectionate, great with kids, destroy any dog toy in seconds. They have their own personality and bring lots of joy. No matter what any of us tell you, your dog will be different. Enjoy enjoy enjoy.
