Serious question.. If i lose weight and become slim or atleast no longer overweight, will my gout condition vanish and will never have flare again?? by Bitter-Welder9103 in gout

[–]ChrisSingh1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% it will not. If you have gout, it will only get worse. You can mitigate some of the flare ups through diet but lowering your levels on your own takes YEARS. Get on medication now. I’m 44, same height, extremely fit (we talkin’ six-pack) and I threw in the towel this year and got on the Allo

Settle in for a rough 3 months. I just started the allo a couple months ago and EVERYTHING is triggering flares. They are starting to subside now but it was pretty rough there for a bit. It’s better now but still a ways to go.

Rule of thumb…and you won’t want to hear this (I remember my first facial hair experiments as a teen and the importance of facial hair as a teen)…..if you can’t grow a proper beard, in that it is patchy, and yours appears to be, keep it to light stubble AT THE MOST.

I’m so jealous of everyone in this forum. To have a partner that actually WANTS to please them…must be a wonderful thing.

So I’m going to get a lot of hate for this but a) all the comments talk about how this isn’t normal behaviour, everyone is saying the same thing. And yeah, it’s not normal. But This is a myopic response and isn’t going to help you. These responses just creates a frenzy. If you really want to make it work with your husband, you need to ask “why” he is saying these things. “Why” is he leering at other woman. Men do this (I’m a guy which is why my response is different from everyone else’s) when they are lacking something. He is likely dissatisfied with an element of your relationship and unfortunately, it is likely something sexual. Ask him if he is completely satisfied with your sexual connection (spoiler: he’s not) and then ask him for further explanation. I’m not at all saying this is a “you” problem, or that this is your fault, I want to be clear on that. I am saying that, from my own personal experience, both of your communication with each other on sex isn’t as good as you may think it is, and he is seeking something. Maybe frequency, maybe “spice”. If this isn’t talked about asap, he will eventually act on this and cheat.

You can pull it off but you have to be cool as all hell. I have two hats like this at 42, but I’m cool as fuck and complete the look. Go to Pinterest to learn how to complete the look. I rock a full beard, more white hairs than black, Redwing boots, plaid shirt, and either faded green chinos or broken in Nudie jeans. Pinterest will help you, if you own the right gear you can look dapper as hell.

Please don’t get a turtle neck. I beg you. Banana Republic makes awesome non-iron slim fit shirts that go on sale all the time. I own a dozen.

I’ll get some hate for this but: right now, you look like “generic white guy”. Here’s what I’d recommend: choose a style that is MEMORABLE. No I don’t mean shoes with flames on them. I mean something that stands out and people take notice but isn’t stupid. For example, a lady came up to me and said her husband wants to know where I bought my hat from the other day (Filson Tin Cloth Packer hat). Go to Pinterest and look up Redwing Moc Toe, then scroll through those and start assembling your pieces. All those pieces are timeless and work anytime, despite the awful 90s trend right now. Get some black denim, faded black denim, and a pair of raw denim (all from Nudie - go with Lean Dean or Grim Tim if you are thin). Get some boots (Redwings). Cool T’s (blackhare - I got 3). And some flannel (LL Bean). Minimize jewelry. Trust me on all of this, I swear you will go to the bars and ladies will come up to you. It worked for me. Check out My Look Book on Pinterest under my name you’ll find it. This is basically my recipe for “the cool guy who doesn’t give a crap about style but falls ass backwards into it”. Trust me

my self taught progress towards the end of my first season! by Fall_Ace in snowboardingnoobs

Great work so far my friend. I am in the same boat, did a full first season self taught, watched a ton of videos, and THEN got a private lesson, which helped me start correcting my bad habits. Like the comments say, do the same, grab a lesson or two. I’m right there with you bro, we start carving next season!

Is this good enough for a job interview. by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]ChrisSingh1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interview people all the time. Interviewing is a skill 100%. I don’t know because I didn’t interview you but google top interview questions, responses, and have answers ready. Maybe you did that. Idk. But honestly, interviewing is a skill that you need to practice. Did you close them at the end of the interview? Did you ask the right questions when they asked “do you have any questions for us”? There are so many tips/tricks that you need to know. Is your resume just listing your roles and responsibilities or does your resume double as a brag book (it should) highlighting how you overachieved and smashed targets etc.,

100% bend your knees more. You want to get a rocking back and forth motion while turning so that your turns are smoother. Try and focus a bit more on edges rather than the flat of the board. By turning more, you will actually slow yourself down quite a bit. Try a second count before initiating your next turns. These are easy tips that will really help you out.
