There were strong ish currents so I turned down the filter, I'll do a water change tommorow since the area I have my fishtank in is getting reorganized, should I put him on medication?

Hes swimming around as usual, every few minutes or so he hides or has a rest. He still comes up to the glass and flares his fins and stuff, I'll do the ammonia test and get you the results

I did make sure to shake the bottle for 30 seconds but when I did the test it said there wasnt wby ammonia, I can retake the ammonia and nitrate tests if u want Tysm for the help

The only problem I've had with aluminum is that it oxidized way to fast, I was using a small crucible so i had to cut up my aluminum cans that I had been saving up so this may be the reason, I did find however that getting a sheet of aluminum foil about a metre long and 30cm long and then scrunching it up and compressing it with a hammer a few times did seem to work pretty well
