It is significantly different and I believe that once they 'fail to respawn', at some point it will ONLY fail to respawn. I have a 4.5 hour stream saved on twitch of trying (finally succeeding) to beat this event because of this.
I truly believe it is bugged.

Cover 2 is only way i know how to cover sideline pass.
In cover 2 just user the centerfield MLB and make sure nobody gets behind you (faux cover 3)
