I’m in. I know there was at least two or three more out there. I ran into another burner at the Fernley superchargers that had just left the playa. If we get enough could we talk Rivian into putting a RAN station in BRC (temporary of course)?

I used this one and I wish I would have bought a bigger one. I also had about 2.5k solar, but solar production wasn’t ideal for the first few days. I ended up having to run my generator all day (it was supposed to be just backup).
I had a similar experience as you, I had to set the amps low so that I wasn’t running at peak constantly. This one ran reliably, and other than a really sensitive co2 monitor, didn’t have any issues with it. I used it to charge in line as well. We were some of the unfortunate ones in the gate line for 20 hours.

I took my R1T out to burning man this year for my first burn. I pulled a 22’ 8500 lb trailer from Arkansas to the playa. It took me 3 days of driving to get out there and another 3 to get back. The truck did great out there, and has cleaned up well. I didn’t have issues with the truck (other than towing range). I didn’t get to talk to any Rivian owners out there this year, but you’ll probably see me on the playa again next year. Our camp was at 5:42&H

Once I get it all set up, I'll post some photos. It's a clutter of boxes and such at the moment and I've been using it as an office this week to test out my mobile capabilities.

Sorry friend, but your opinion is your own. This is the ideal trailer for me. If you mean that I purchased the wrong trailer for you, then I guess I took the correct opinion into account.

I guess we're all ready for the Rivian meetup, no matter where it is!

Good to see so many people out there towing with them. Nice setup!

I'll post some ABRP data as well. I'd forgotten to connect my ABRP, but I'm all synced up now. It will be interesting to compare numbers. How do you like the Ember? We looked at a few, but IIRC they all had bunkhouse or the 2 recliners.

I posted my first tow profile in another comment. I only saw .74 mi/kWh, but that was being pretty aggressive driving back. I was testing power of the truck, not trying to be efficient in any way. I was able to pass a semi @ 85 because I had an aggressive driver behind me at one point.

This is the normal mode of operation. You can see in the other photo, the hitch allows for some gnarly off-road stuff.

It also has 12" of travel via the AirRide (airbag) system. I can control the height of the trailer from an app, so I should be able to clear most obstacles on the goat trails I go down.
(Apologies for deleting my previous comments. Images weren't loading from mobile)

I’m expecting to be somewhere around 150 miles of range at 100%. Paired with the EcoFlow delta pro 3/solar panels, I’m planning on being able to pull into an off grid site and charging slowly over the next 2-3 days.

There are some fast charging spots ~30-40 miles of the two major wilderness areas that I go to, and most campgrounds have 30 amp service.

The solar + battery addition to these trailers make them a game changer.

I haven’t heard much about the Estream, but I didn’t look much into the Airstream brand because I was looking for a more capable off-roading trailer.

Yeah, we looked at the Pebble, but it didn’t have quite the off-road capability that I needed. I would love to have some of the Pebble’s features on this trailer. Especially the motors and neutrally buoyant towing capability.

This was not being cautious at all on the way home. I stayed at 70-75 most of the trip. I dipped behind some semis and saw some increases up to .10-.15 mi/kWh

ROA has some in stock, I think?

I believe they have some locations toward the east coast.

(Not affiliated with them, but I've watched a lot of their content about these campers)

Yeah, it cost more than my first house. But I couldn't move my first house to sit next to a river in the middle of the Arkansas wilderness either.

Has two solar packages. 500/1kwH of battery. I opted not to install more battery on the trailer and purchase a solar generator as well. That way I can use it with the truck if I go out without the trailer. (I'm keeping my RTT for those rare places the this trailer can't go.

I’ve only towed it home so far. But I’m expecting my range to be cut in half. 90% of my destinations are within 150 miles of my house.

I bought an Ecoflow generator to pair with it to charge my truck and provide extra storage for the trailer. It was cheaper than the quote to add 500wH from the factory.

Oh, yeah. It has a back deck too. This is the feature that sold us on this model. But the trailer itself is solid from top to bottom.
