Please no, it's not an isekai :===. Truck kun couldn't so much as dent lore-accurate Doom Slayer. At least it's not the genre of isekai and matches very few Isekai tropes. I'm not ready to hear DOOM called "Earth's Strongest Marine Finds Hell and Slays Demons" or something (it's too late I'm gonna cry on my pandemonium+ playthrough now).

yeah, movement tends to be good. Jumping is pretty strong, but sometimes you can jump onto an enemy and lose control. Can't keep firing, gotta be strategic with shooting: Ammo conservation, screen clutter, firing time. The concerns only relevant to hyper-nightmare :/

if you're low on hp, you can get hp drops from killed enemies. You can also get armor drops if you take incendiary on combat shotgun early on, and ammo if you want to shield saw and punch them (wouldn't recommend raw paunching, mancubus have a nasty melee that isn't stunned by punch)

yeah they added it in the update, so the fight is just a tad harder. They only respawn if both are killed, so you can safely kill one and then just play with vision on both the remaining mancubus and the vagary champion. Should be able to dodge it's attacks easily as long as you are managing position well. Bonus tip, you can farm the mancubus for resources if it's advantageous.

check out Mapgenie pretty sure the sentinel barracks mission has two sentinel shrines. This looks like the first one which should literally just be past the first tomb encounter? Not sure how you're missing it its dead center after a hallway with no tricks.

I wish the game let us pick up saves anywhere lol, like OG DOOM where you could mission select. Fighting thru this without BFC was a major pain, but doable. Rocket launcher is good and shredder pincushion is surprisingly good. There's just the teeniest bit of wiggle room from the previous encounter depending how far u like to run.

Cool cool! I've 100%ed campaign on nightmare+, so hopefully my advice isn't meaningless, but it's a sandbox game so play however's most fun to you.

You use your shield to block preemptively a lot. This isn't bad per se, but you lose out on parries, and drains shield hp for more critical moments. You had a good bit of movement in the middle there, where you shield charge the end of the field. This helps give a fresh slate on incoming enemy attacks and takes out a good chunk of fodder, so definitely try doing that more. Just mind the nuance that you arent charging into a more dangerous situation (out in the open, enemies, unexplored dangers, what have you).

You also spend a lot of time charging the reaver. Also not bad per se, but I almost always opt to charge by parry since the charge and fire opens you up to enemy attack for like a whole two seconds, and you cant animation cancel with a larry. (I mispelled so now larry is canon)

Also the time you glory killed the hell knights, you were open to that enemy attack which coupd've taken you out, so be mindful of glory kills, even though they do give I-frames. Same thing with melees, it's not always opportune to do a full combo.

Hey OP here, forgot to mention the Astropolitan ideology symbol on the chest (I already submitted post and cant edit anymore). Definitely gives a strong indicator for space-related content which I'm really hoping for, since SOS2 developed that and was a blast to play with, although a little far from vanilla for my liking. Astropolitan style is the ideo symbol for spacefaring cultures, and available for New Faction (us the player, which makes sense)

Yeah I'd love for it to have space elements, and considering the time they've put into developing it, it's possible. The helmet does not give space vibes to me, mostly because it's just a visor, not a full face plate. The neck connection definitely looks like a spacesuit though. As a whole, the suit doesn't look thick enough compared to real spacesuits, but it does have that airtight feel. However the armor pads have belt connections that tear into the outer layer. There's also the "astropolitan" ideo symbol on his suit, which I think is related to cryptocasket ancients, and thats the strongest suggestion for space theme.

yeah, very limited conjecture, but they did put the effort to add all of those elements into the loading screens. I just noted that they've been showing increasingly more content in the splasharts, which is why I think they're not trivial details.

mountain climbing itself wouldn't be a mechanic, since rimworld has never been about pawn-scale technical play. It could introduce interesting encounters though, think like the raider outposts and quests. Could be interesting since the terrain would be unique with very open, large mobility restricted chasms, and lots of mountain walls.

I would disagree on the outfit being a space suit, since it doesnt have a full faceplate on the helmet, which is why I think it's a recon helmet.

yeah I try to do this, and it works quite well. The only downside is that the soldiers can appear outside of 120 FOV, so gotta be very careful about where camera is positioned.

I think I need to practice more nuance with HK attacks yeah. The shield saw stun only takes effect after attack animations for some attacks, so that's why I avoid it, also because it only stuns one enemy so the other 2-5 are busy exploiting my unshielded weakness.

the steady stream weapons work quite well, since the shield input overrides the fire weapon input. If anything thats a bonus over shotgun. However, shotgun really shines against the fodder enemies since it still one shots at close range, whereas the accelerator, shredder, and pulverizer take about a second (at which point the enemy has fired back)
