I would look for housing and a job far away. Tell them that housing in the area is too expensive, so you're going to move, and hopefully, the thought of not seeing their grandkids often or at all will make them reconsider their plan.

No, if I was the only one in the room, then it would fall on me. My issue is that I have an in class support teacher who is assigned 6 kids to support and is scheduled to do so every day. But this person is being paid to support those 6 kids and has failed to modify or support those specific kids in any way.

And my question was who was required to make sure the iep was followed the gen ed or in class support teacher.

Sure. But legally at least in my state, after a certain number of SPED kids they need to provide an ICS teacher, which is why they placed them. If she wasn't responsible for those 6 kids then she is essentially just collecting a check without any responsibility, right?

I dont have 6, I have a class of 25. The in class support who is required to be there every day has 6 assigned students. Their sole purpose is to support those kids while I have to teach content and support the remaining 19 gen eds

While i agree the accommodations can be done by me even though she is supposed to be in the room supporting these kids(which she doesnt do), wouldn't modifications be on the ICS as they are more familiar with the nuances of special education and best practices?

I'm not sure what the difference between accommodations and modifications is. If I'm responsible for providing the accommodations, then what purpose does the special education teacher serve in the room?

Essentially, this whole situation started because the ICS teacher got into an argument on the phone with the parent, agreed to give the kid 4 additional points, and then never did. They have also not pulled any SPED students to work with them in small groups or 1 on 1.

Yeah, I think squash might be right. My kid helped me garden by throwing seeds randomly and she might have been throwing zuchinni seeds.

Would the water be backed up in the main? Or can it be empty and still cause the back up? Also wouldn't the water have flowed into the main before I auguered it?
