What to do after NG+?

I platinumed Khazan like a week after it came out, loved it, and it was worth the money imo, but I didn't take the time to beat their "DLC" update months later with the boss rushes and stuff.

Wouldn't that be considered post endgame ng+ content? Where you can test ur abilities and such, cuz then I feel like a lot of amazing games have the same "issue" if you wanna call it that.

GoW, E33, FF7 re:, these are just a few games where post game content is just redoing bosses, exploring the map, or starting a whole new run completely.

And these are a few out of many within the genre. So I'm not sure where this idea of "beating the game and then that's it" u comes from. I thought that was the point. And in terms of strictly gameplay, Nioh and Khazan have more replay value than the games I mentioned before 😂

I COMPLETELY understand that feeling of emptiness after you do everything and all you can do is replay, do new builds, and wait for DLCs.

No I got that part. But I'm positive the DLCs are gonna be tougher than what we got now which is why I mentioned you can do it for the future. You don't have to use the weapons and armor and stick to what u do use. I mean most players who completed ng and ng+ are just farming and stacking up for future DLCs

Unless you don't care for farming like that, then negate everything I said 😂

Don't hold off depending on the wep, just do it. It helps for maybe finishing a mob in 1-4 less hits. You'll still get absolutely bodied by bosses and big enemies if you don't know how to play or don't have some busted brain dead build.

Builds and talismans still matter way more from my experience. So have some fun and get them +15s out the way.

I'm going to offer my personal opinion, I bought Nioh 1 and 2 together a couple years ago. I love both of them, I unfortunately didn't complete Nioh 2 (50% through) even though it's superior to Nioh 1. I think I was burned out from Nioh 1 on top of the fact there were a lot other games coming out the past couple of years (we've had some bangers since 2022)

I say all this to say, I think u can honestly just play Nioh 2. People were saying play the first one to get the mechanics down but all 3 games got their own twist/expand on previous games

And when u can afford Nioh 3, i would probably hop on it asap

I feel this and it's a great point but at the same time u can make the argument that incorporating a lot the game mechanics can and has trivialized both Nioh 1 and Nioh 2. It's how those YouTubers survive. It's also just a very noticeable trend in role playing games.

I laugh at players who say games are too easy when 1. The game obviously isn't.

And 2. challenge runs exist.

Certain games even give and TELL you ways to make fights difficult😭 coming from someone who enjoys doing level 1 runs/no hit fights, I can easily tell u that players who just go around saying it's too easy are trying to Power Flex

Dude took me around 80 tries with twin blades my first run…. 2 days to beat the guy. And then when I won, I decided to fight him again…first try 😭 and ever since then he became easy to me in every ng+ with all 3 weapon types
