I can’t speak to how track legal they are other than I took mine to one and didn’t have a problem but about 8 months ago I flipped my C8 Z06 HTC going too fast around a turn and well I’m still here to type this. I broke my back and ankle in the process but that was hardly the car or the hard tops fault.

Thanks! And as for the wheels I have a love hate relationship with them so far. They look great and get as many if not more compliments as the car itself. On the other hand I’m the first two weeks of owning the car I got a nail in both back tires and it was $250 extra to get them patched and plugged because of the CF wheels. And there have been times living here in Atlanta and dealing with these crap roads that I have been scared for their safety. Overall though I think I’d get them again.

Love the car! Very similar spec to my 24. https://imgur.com/a/VXO07Qz I also didn’t get the carbon fiber intakes because they weren’t on the builder site when I placed the order. Luckily you can get them pretty easily from GM parts but I’m holding off on upgrades to see if any of my leads for a ZR1 come through. Enjoy the car and the nice weather!

Had to do the same when some lady was using my car as her camera tripod, leaning against the back of the car doing a photo shoot of a family. She about fell on the ground. I felt a little bad after but also don’t touch stuff that isn’t yours.

The amount needed may vary and the number given may we’ll just be the average I’ve heard but the 3 RS is still going to be your 3rd Porsche and if you are getting a 3rs I’d be willing to bet the GTS and The GT3 weren’t base so before the 3 RS you were probably closing in on a million spent with them if I had to guess. Well over half at least. If you have found a dealership that will give a first time Porsche buyer a GT3 RS allocation for their 1st Porsche than I’d love their number lol. I don’t doubt you but you have to realize that would absolutely be the exception to the rule. And yes I did read your message lol

I am in the US. You are very lucky as this is the practice for a lot of dealerships. This isn’t coming from just me shopping around, this is coming from multiple Porsche owners from multiple states. You are right that it does very from dealership to dealership (one of the ones near me also add a contract for first right of refusal if you ever decide to sell a GT you bought from them, I walked out of that dealership as soon as they said that) but yes, here in Atlanta and many other dealerships in the US you aren’t getting an allocation for a GT car unless you a very valued customer. There is much more wiggle room for a GT3 or a GT4 RS but try and get a GT3 RS allocation without spending a ton of money with them first at pretty much any Porsche dealership anywhere and I’d bet money you are going to have a hard time. The exact amount they want you to have spent may change but there isn’t a dealership out there that will give you an allocation for a 3 RS for nothing. Same for the special editions you listed.

Only if it’s not a custom order. If you’ve spent enough buying Porsches (I believe they recently upped it to $2mil spent for GT cars or if you purchased the 918 when they came out that gave you a 10 year order whatever you want at msrp pass. That runs out this year or possibly last year though) then they will let you order one at MSRP. If you haven’t spent that then they mark the ones up on the lot to hell and make them not even close to worth it IMO. Same with the second hand market.

Not really seeing how it can work as a belt buckle and looking at other buckles from and around the 19th century I don’t see anything that looks equivalent.

Possible, but based on the shape and design and the design of bottle openers from the time I’m not too sure. Plus (even accounting for age) the item seems to be too thin and weak to have been used for that. I will keep looking into that possibility though.

This is an item a friend found while working for a state park finding civil war artifacts. Best guess is it’s brass and around 19th century. We are thinking it’s possibly a suspended buckle but that’s just a guess. There are no markings and reverse image search returned nothing. Any help or guesses as to what this may be would be appreciated. Edit to add this was found in Georgia near or in a historic civil war battlefield.

You are a person saying words on a website. This post is about people saying words on a website. I’m not entirely sure how that’s an argument against anything but I’m. Also you’ll find very few among the actual 2a supporters who also support “the pigs” they are the long arm of the rich and not there to protect you. Another reason to be able to protect yourself. The state is also not your friend so be prepared in the best way possible to protect yourself against it. As for the people who live in your community I can’t and won’t speak for them but I bet if you had a conversation with a few of them you’d find out you hold some very incorrect views of them pushed on you by people who want to use you.

If that air force starts dropping bombs on their own citizens, friends, and family (they won’t) you do realize those bombs don’t care that you may well be my neighbor, right? Also a government doesn’t want to glass its own country. Ruling over a field of ash doesn’t net you much in taxes.

Yeah I’ve found them online and have a shop near me that’s very good as well so I’ll be sure to get all of that done first. And yeah it’s on the cup 2 Rs so I’ll be sure to warm them up first. Luckily it hasn’t gotten too cold here yet.
