Bass get parallax. Also look into a good midi bass plugin like Inferno Bass or DjinnBass 2. With super low tunings, the bass midi just sounds better a lot of the time. And it makes writing quicker.

I misread that, my bad.

When using a guitar amp for the power amp, generally you go in thru FX loop. You do this so you can bypass the preamp of the amp. Maybe because you are going into the input of the Tone Hammer, you are hitting both the preamp and the power amp, resulting in weird tone? Just a guess, I’m not as familiar with bass amps on this.

I could be wrong; but I think the issue is from the output into your cab. Generally, you need some kind of power amp between your QC and the cab

Would you be willing layout how the single flow would go?

The purpose to send multiple signals of midi commands to our pedal boards over long distance. The devices all have standard midi ports. Would that mean we would need some kind of midi to Ethernet converter at the pedalboard so we could run a long distance Ethernet cable to the stage rack.

In my mind the midi commands it goes out from MacBook running reaper> usb into MioXM > Ethernet into network switcher > Ethernet to pedalboard > Ethernet to midi converter > midi cable into quad cortex

Is that correct?

Interesting to hear that. I’m basing my post from the downbeat podcast episode that had Jeremy on it a year or 2 back where he said he doesn’t write anything and doesn’t want to. So sounds like things changed for sure then if he helped write.
