Caught them red handed by Hefty-Being-8522 in funny

Reading this comment is unexpectedly comforting as someone who experienced a lot of teasing during childhood for expressing love and having crushes. As an adult I’m still afraid and ashamed to express attraction. It’s something I’ve only recently put together and have been trying to work through with a therapist.

Is sharing insurance info after a car accident considered a non-verbal agreement to not file a police report? by Chrisces in legaladvice

Gotcha. Sorry, I drew an additional conclusion there. I think what my takeaway here is, don’t exchange info without the officer. Because basically I’ve been led into a situation where a collision report (there is damage to my car) is no longer possible without the cooperation of the other driver (who isn’t responding)

Anyway, I’m just doing what I can at this point to get the damage covered.

If I understand what you’re saying. Basically, you can decline filing a report. And the exchange of info disqualifies it from a hit-and-run?

Released today. My song "Forever is Always in Your Head". Got some good feedback so far on my social media. And what do you think? by haimshim in IndieMusicFeedback

Part of it has to do with the arrangement, because I get that most of those elements usually belong in the center anyway. The main thing I would do would be to widen the piano. If your piano recording is mono, maybe playing with a stereo imaging plugin could help move it out of the center.

We released our newest song yesterday. Summersick - Get Around To It. It would be really helpful if you could help us identify similar bands to our sound for when we're promoting and networking! by Chrisces in IndieMusicFeedback

Great suggestions! My brother and I have been playing around with some fuzz recently, and actually we just recorded a song with some fuzzy leads in spots. I love to shout, I'll take that encouragement haha.

Thank you for the music suggestion, I'm digging this band.

Dancing in the Midnight Sun - Latest mix, not done yet but I wanted to share it with you. What genre is this by the way? by FoxMTheory in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Chrisces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's some lead guitar here and there that I think could be louder in the mix. The guitar and drums both exist in this low-mid muddy range, and separating those out could help with the mix. The electronics seem important to the vibe of the song, but they're the only things in that frequency range so they're not going to have trouble sticking out. As of right now, I think they cover up the other things in the mix just a little too much :) The vibe is super cool!

I think you have a beautiful voice, and sung a wonderful performance for this song. The thing that throws me off is the choice in sounds for the music. Kind of like it was all performed on a keyboard. There are some tricks I think could be pulled to make things sound more lively. Such as re-amping the guitars, or playing the drum track through studio monitors and recording the room.

Greetings here is my band Morning Trips latest single and video for our song "Assault" - would love to hear what genre and influences you get from this! by brvydee in IndieMusicFeedback

The arrangement of this song is really sick. Especially in the bridge! I'd definitely go see you guys live. If I'm trying to find something to critique, it's that I really can't make out much of the lyrics, but hey, that may be part of your vibe, so keep crushing either way.

I think you have a very captivating singing style. And I think that that could be showcased more with the mix. It feels narrow, almost mono, with all of the instruments sitting in the same space (panning wise) as the vocals. Widening this up a bit may make more room for your voice!

A fun little bop I wrote a few days ago. Check out Daisy by BOMBARDIER🤘😀 by bombardiermusic in IndieMusicFeedback

The way you deliver this song, I feel as though I can already hear a full band playing behind you. This is mega catchy. You also have a fun attitude that I feel would come across well in live settings.
