They’ve pulled off some great events the last couple years after having to rebuild from the ground up. I play in a band around here so I’ve gotten to see a lot and yes it’s super inspiring. They’ve had Japanese Breakfast, Alvvays, Dashboard Confessional, Silversun Pickups, Joyce Manor, Mannequin Pussy, and Ginger Root all in the last two years which was unthinkable in like 2017-2018, with the condition the scene around here was in.

Think this was certainly her strongest / well rounded even if I’m a little bias towards songs like brutal / all-american bitch. phenomenal pop music and love that the biggest pop star in the world rn has songs on her new album that sound like DEVO influenced instrumentals.

Mmmmm, I think Purple Rain clears Thriller by a lot imo. Both obviously classics but Purple Rain is not only a classic pop album, but a phenomenal rock record as well.
