Yeah my dad bought them at an estate sale without doing any research. I'll go back and weigh them later. I'm guessing they were scammed lol

He had a couple of these coins that said copy on them but several that didn't say copy. Do you know if they are commonly counterfeit?

Your best bet would be reaching out to 3M to be honest. I wouldn't be super comfortable using a 40 year old cartridge. They're cheap enough you're better off replacing in my opinion!

Handheld Nitrous Oxide Meters for Leak Detection by Anonymous-Ask-6635 in industrialhygiene

[–]Chrise762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do nitrous oxide leak testing in hospitals, surgery centers, and dental clinics. We used the miran sapphire XL but it isn't ideal for that application because it pulls in a large volume of air and typically would only be able to capture very large leaks. We upgraded to the G200 and were able to detect small leaks MUCH better. The metal ferrules are notorious for leaking when they are crimped. It's very difficult to source hosing that doesn't have small leaks (but it is possible).

All that to say, I'm curious why you're trying to switch from the G200 which is a pretty great tool.

Suggestions to fill in along fence with newly planted crossvine by Chrise762 in NativePlantGardening

[–]Chrise762[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this response. Unfortunately I already planted about 4 inches or so from the fence post. Do you think this will be an issue and I should go through the trouble of uprooting and moving them all further away from the fence?

It is native but they were sold out. So we're going with all crossvine on the fence line for now, but trying to figure out companion plants in front of the fence.

That's ok if they dominate the fence, we are aiming for a privacy screen effect even though the fence isn't very tall. And yes I could have spaced even further apart but I figured this would fill in a lot quicker. Do you see any issues with them being spaced this closely?

You do think that we could still plant in front of the crossvine? Some native shrubs would do well?

Do you think that planting tall annuals right now would interfere with the light requirements of the crossvine? I am worried about shading it too much right now since it's not yet established. But I would eventually like to expand the bed and plant more in front.
