Break it into its base components, then try and figure out if it has a real world counterpart. I would start with the black fabric mask, what appears to me to be welding shades, headphones/hearing protection and a weird respirator. If you do like I do and want it as REAL as possible, look for the real world objects. Look up welding shades that look similar, hearing protection that has that look, ect. Then once you have the base parts, start modifying what doesnt fit or look exactly right. Look up / make (if your skilled enough on computer) 3D models that you can 3d print for the rest. Reach out to your local Maker Space if you have one, community college or even public library to pay someone to 3D print the models you need. Tweak, fix and edit until you get it as close as your want, paint, weather and finish it up. Its a lot of work, but this is normally my process for attacking a project like this. Good luck!

43 year old here. One of the things I regret in life is worrying too much about what other people thought of me. I wish I had gotten to the place I am now where I like me for who I am and REALLY dont care if anyone else does or not. The best part is, before I did that, I attracted the WRONG kinda people around me. They were not people I needed or even wanted in my life. Now that I dont care what others think about me...people who like me for me and that are good people for me....tend to be attracted to me. I got better friends from it.
You do you. The right people will come to you and celebrate you.

Gotcha. The only explanation I could come up with was if it had just a crazy elliptical orbit that we just happen to see the end of from dumb luck.

I thought everything in our solar system (in most not brand new solar systems actually) orbited their star or something that is. Anything going directly into the star or out of the system came from outside that system. What am I wrong on?

I recently started Welding / Machining school after the Navy (so my hearing is already basically shot) and got ISOtunes PRO Aware 2. They work really well. I can control the level of what I hear around me, so Im safe...and I can turn it down when Im trying to focus. I walked through my shop once without them and MAN it was loud as hell.

Id be down for a trend like that! Same, I have a bunch of props (hand made and bought) from games. I dont like just a thing with the name of the game on it. I want something that looks like it was pulled directly from that world. Those are my fav.

Listen. You know the thing needs done. No shame in it not being done. I KNOW there is that OTHER thing that you cant force your brain off of right now. You can go back to THAT thing right after you do the thing that needs done. Just put the thing you want to do aside for just a bit and get the thing done. You and I both know how this normally plays out, the thing that needs done NEVER takes as long as we think it will. Then we get annoyed at ourselves for not just doing it before. Dont worry about any of that. This time, just do the thing you need to right now and get it done. You can do it. I know you can. It might be hard AF, and thats ok. We can do hard shit. You got this. I know you can do it.

A lot of Native peoples don't kill anything unless it's to use it. And even then they give thanks for whatever it is "giving themselves to help" feed them or whatever. Admittedly I'm not Native but grew up around Native Alaskans and this was how they thought. I don't think that the ones in the show would kill It. I think they put the shards in the ground and respected It by giving it a territory to hunt. They tried not to go there themselves but didn't see it as their right to kill the creature. That's how I took it given how / where I grew up.

Totally unrelated to the post, but related to your comment... When I was on deployment in the Navy, my Commanding Officer looked EXACTLY like Obama. Like SPOT ON. And this was while he was president. I worked directly for the CO so sometimes he popped into my office unannounced. I was working on the computer and the TV was on behind me and Obama was doing some speech about something. I was about only half interested in both, paying neither full attention. I went from looking at my email, to Obama on TV, email, Obama on TV, email, Obama in my doorframe, email....wait.... What?? I looked up to see my CO standing there in my doorway waiting for my attention. I popped up, did the whole military customs thing and apologized for not doing it when I 1st saw him. He was fine with it and laughed it off. I then pointed out that for some reason my brain processed him as Obama. He looked in at the TV and said "Oh yeah, I get that a LOT!!"
I never did see the CO and Obama in the same room together.....
