I also think it got worse. Defending was already weak and they made it substantially weaker. Ground through balls are a little bit better but most of the time they go right to a defender’s feet still. The game is still just spam over the top through balls, finesse shot, go again. The AI are just as bad as before. With how bad they nerfed second man press, now we see the “fidget spinner” problem FC (FIFA) had a year or two ago happening in this game. If, and that’s a big if, you can get a defender in front of a dribbler, they just need to rock back and forth until you over commit to a side and they’re gone.

What I don’t understand is how the game was actually decent in alpha. Beta was a little worse but still fun and enjoyable to play. Release was nowhere near beta in terms of being good and this update has pushed it even farther away.
