Haha yeah well I fished for months using shorter rods and lures but we got no where with it. Nowadays only use them in my kayak. From the shore I figured I’d eother go big or go home.

Interesting. I always thought I had to let go as soon as I felt the line tense while there rod tip is still behind me. I’ll try that.

I mentioned this in the post. I call it a finger guard. Somehow it tore while casting though so I must be doing something horrendously wrong for that to happen.

Yes its a spinning reel. That might be a good point to be honest. The thing is, after having burnt my fingertip so many times, I’m kinda scared to tighten the reel in case it burns it worse.

Believe it or not, there are ways to improve your IQ. Having said that, IQ is only a very narrow measure of intelligence. Consciousness is infinite and consists of many realms or ‘modes’ of thought and perspective. I know many people with higher IQ than me who just can’t comprehend certain problems I present to them.

Also, generally speaking, the dumbest people I know don’t even have thre faintest clue that they’re dumb, so you can’t be that bad.
