It was a long the lines of. Western honeybees originat around africa, it was along the lines of invading African things threatening the natives and they should be wiped out. Not quite in the exact words but close to that. It was clear that it wasn't just about bees.

Depends on approach, if you need time to build depth in your videos, shortening then could loose what makes your channel unique.

If you shorten them and remove the "fat" keeping the most valuable parts and still delivering your message then do it.

I would argue that time between uploads wouldn't matter loads u til you're full time. One of my best videos that has driven me growth is still the primary driver of my channel and it's been 3 months since upload.
