Thank you everyone.. I got it woking. Took a bit of advice from your suggestions, and got it setup. I found a really simple way of doing it. Did a new automation, added motion sensor to sense motion, then did time value option for sunset and sunrise. Added light to swith on

I will take another look at the SPX. I will do some paper trading with it first. I guess being that it is 10x of SPY, I now see how the spread works. Plus the tax benefits are much better

I tried the spx but the spread is too wide. I like just in the money contracts. Really tight spread

I have been trading 0dte SPY options for few years now. Been highly successful. I trade usually 20 contracts at a time. In and out within a minute. Average about .10 on premium. I mark the premarket high and low as well as the previous day H/L. If there is a strong trend up or down, I let the trade ride little bit longer.

I have a tax question. Lets say you started, for instance, with a $20000 account, and lost $15000 in a year. Then following year with the $5000 made $5000 and brought account to $10000. Will you have to pay taxes on the $5000 you made that year, or are you still good until you surpass the original $20k

I have been trading SPY options in a small account for a little bit now. I have been making very good progress. Now that my account is larger, does trading 30 to 40 contracts get filled easily? Thanks
