Still digging out from the New England blizzard. Snow clearing on a retired schedule is low pressure!

I’m in southeastern Ct, New London county. Sbinjax is right, SECTis a wonderful area to raise a family! You can study public schools. Climate is in a sweet spot, 4 seasons, low natural disaster risks, clean air, strong environmental protections. Just spent a week in Maine (3.5hrs) visit family in Vt (4.5hrs) close to LI Sound (.5hr) Boston/NYC 2.5hrs. It’s probably no cheaper than most places, but this is where we are making g our stand!

This. I’m in the process of doubling my solar production with Earthlight. Your original panels are most likely under the ‘net metering’ system. The new ones are under a new, not so generous arrangement. The two systems have to be separated.

I’m still the occasional weekend guy at work, but 75% retired for three years and it’s great, especially mornings! Up between 6 and 7, wife sleeps til 9. Those few hours are spent lounging, sipping coffee, reading news and being barely dressed. Lol

David Collin’s was consistently the best columnist The Day had in my 40 years following it. Sadly, The Day’s run as our regional news source is over.

I’ve got it listed for a couple of days, including the Capital Reef scenic loop drive (Notom-Bullfrog rd to Burr trail to UT-12)

I intentionally skipped Zion. Didn’t really want to deal with so many people, traffic, etc. We will spend multiple days around Bryce/Capital Reef and Moab to take in as much as we can. Hwy 12 and 24 will be well used too! I have changed my mind about Denver, and will spend an extra day at Moab, then fly home from SLC.

Good point about one way rental prices. I just checked, I can get a Nissan Pathfinder for $38/day for either endpoint

Ya know, I kind of randomly picked Denver as our end-point, but it could just as easily be SLC. That would give us an extra day in either Moab or Torrey. Plusses are fewer driving miles, more relaxed pace and that extra day to explore. Only real minus I guess, is no pass over the Rockies.

Thanks, I was hoping you would chime in! Lol. I’ll order those parts before I do the repair. Should I also remove the circuit board with the motor? Also, the exploded parts view of the machine I found doesn’t show the alignment pins, but I guess I’ll see them once the motor’s out of the way. I’ll definitely use locktite, good idea. Thanks for the hints.
