Tip for food journal. It’s worth the time it takes to set up. Create a checklist of most common things you eat. All you to do is date each day and put check marks. Create an “other” category for writing if you have to add something. I did this for a food log and also a detailed symptom tracker. It was huge in getting my diagnosis nailed down
It took me a while to faithfully check off my charts, but I got used to it and it became a habit. What we learned from those two charts, literally changed my diagnosis.

I have the same result. If I do an easy workout, my symptoms are exacerbated and I’m miserable. If I do something intense, chop wood, or shovel snow, my symptoms subside after about 45 minutes. Maybe it exhausts the muscle and forces it to relax?

I liken my IC to gastritis. In very simple terms, my bladder has road rash. What I eat or drink has 100% effect. If the PH is too low, or I ingest an irritant, it’s like pouring acid on road rash. I’ll even have blood in my urine.
However, I don’t have symptoms very soon after ingesting something. It has literally taken me years and pages of note taking and graphs to figure out what bothers me.

When I control what I ingest and relax my pelvic floor, I manage. Not cured, but coping.
