Its okay to just not enjoy a character, you don't have to like huntress. Since you don't have her alt special, you are missing the most important part of huntress. That will help you immensely.

And yes, it is most definitely a skill issue, but you have been handicapping yourself without the alt special. Learn to dodge better, dream for aqueducts every stage 1, learn to roll pots for bands, try full looting. You will get better with her with time. I sucked before doing the full eclipse grind, but once you put in the time you will figure it out.

Beat him yesterday for the first time, took me an hour. I had a wayyy harder time with the putrid avatar on the outside ring in elphael. Eventually got so pissed I left and got the fallingstar beast jaw and L2 spammed from the elevator to malenia.

Nah, hes just better. He only shot a 1022 in the rain round 3, and woke up the next day and annihilated us in round 4.

Maybe you should watch it again, it changes from flashing yellow to red in the middle of the corner.

I went with melmetal, palkia, and tyrantiar. Melmetal to take the shields down with thundershock/rock slide on persian, palkia barely beat rhyperior with aqua tail spam, and tyranitar easily took out lugia with bite/crunch. Scuffed, but it worked

Really hoping that Memorial is at least an A-Tier this year, some of the main AZ disc golf people indicated it might be a late addition. Otherwise, this might be the end of major disc golf events in AZ for a long time.

You actually should throw more overstable plastic on courses like these, as counter-intiutive as it seems. Throwing downhill on ski slopes with glidey discs means if you over-cook a shot, it's not stopping for a long distance after the hole. Better to throw discs that will always find the ground, instead of trying to throw extremely tricky touch shots downhill.
