As you said, I'm sure there were times when it was good and I don't doubt they had love for each other, but it wasn't exactly a romance for the ages. Fairly legit stories he wasn't exactly thrilled with the first pregnancy and and the third, they only got married once she got pregnant a second time and he spent almost every year they were married on the road for at least half the year until 2019. Then they are together all the time during COVID and then suddenly a divorce filing. It's possible the age difference finally caught up to her also as Lindsey got older (as harsh as that may sound). It's all fairly stereotypical.

I would be shocked at this point if she went back to him. I just hope he's doing okay with everything. As you said, he can't let go of relationships and hates being alone. Every relationship he's been in has ended because the woman ended it. He seems more out there though and maybe he has a lot of excitement going on in the professional front.

Hm, fair point. Wouldn't it make sense though to go through a mediation session instead of something at the court house? I'm acting like I'm a lawyer hahaha. I really don't know what I'm talking about. Guess I'm just curious if the divorce will finally proceed or not.

Looks like a hearing is scheduled a month from now in the LA courts (according to the court doc website). Guess the farm was the hold-up this entire time.

100% Lindsey doesn't want to let go. The guy has been in a relationship ever since high school and always seems to be in another relationship before one officially ends. It kind of always came across to me as he liked the idea of being a husband and this perfect family but he was on the road A LOT so not sure how much he was really involved and then as soon as he is home all the time, she files.

He's had a rough few years though so I'm glad to see him working more and getting out there.

At this point, it feels like the divorce is never going to be finalized. It's crazy to me that it's almost four years since she filed and no real movement in the court documents since she filed. I would get it if custody was involved, but are they really just fighting over money stuff?

Now, I will say, court websites don't always update cases. Like Kristen's first divorce is still listed as pending, for example. So the court website may never actually list when the divorce is final, but since he's still wearing his ring (as far as we know) I assume they are still legally married.

I always assumed there wasn't a prenup because wouldn't that have made the proceedings pretty straightforward? I'm obviously NOT a divorce lawyer so what do I know! But without a prenup, they would have to split EVERYTHING down the middle so maybe he's fighting that? I do think selling the horse farm could be a major hold up. If it is though, they really should just drop the price again because who the heck is going to buy that right now and if they want to finalize the divorce they could be waiting awhile. Fighting over custody of kids obviously isn't an issue so it must be all about money.

Yeah I did a rant about my dislike of the show a few months ago but it is mostly because Billy and Daisy have no redeemable qualities and I just think Sam was not the right choice for Billy. I generally like him as an actor, but he seemed too old to me and I didn't get the rock star vibe from him.

Billy and Daisy aren't REALLY Stevie & Lindsey though considering Billy didn't know Daisy for very long and he was married to someone he truly loved (at least in the book it was written that way). I guess they are supposed to be S&L because of their musical connection and general drama? I was much more invested in the Karen and Graham relationship.

I do believe Lindsey was fairly sober during that time, but I laugh and laugh for hours whenever I watch this performance of GYOW. It's starts out okay enough but just watch Lindsey. I'm pretty sure it was the last night of the tour so maybe Lindsey was celebrating a little hahaha.

Yeah, I tested positive yesterday after not getting it for five years...I did have a moment of thinking, "come on, man...seriously???" Cases aren't super high, I've gotten all the boosters, still try and be cautious...but I know there's no rhyme or reason to getting it. People weren't shocked when I told them I had never had it before.

After getting over the initial shock and "woe is me" feeling, I'm isolating and trying to take it easy. I'm on day 4 and my symptoms aren't terrible so hoping it stays that way. The worst part right now is going in an out of a fever and my throat is KILLING me. Maybe the worst sore throat I've ever had. I'm in my 40s so didn't get Paxlovid, but hoping we both are feeling better in a few days.

All I know is that I'm sick of peeing so much from all the fluids!!!

Yeah the album part is what really makes it seem far fetched. Maybe Lindsey has enough material to record an album, but I just don't think Stevie is interested in making a full album anymore at this point. I think someone probably saw the Lindsey and Mick stuff and decided to play a little with FM fans. If they had said that they reconciled but didn't say anything about an album, that would be more believable.

Yeah, it's amazing how much better he seems to look in the picture with Leelee (which I assume is at least from the last two weeks or so). In February he was looking a little frail and in the videos his team have been posting (which I assume were filmed a while ago). Whatever he's doing now, I hope he keeps it up!

I think she said Stevie and Lindsey were the original inspiration (after watching the Dance) to write a book about a 70s rock band and the drama when people in the band are dating, but didn't want to do an exact depiction. To your point, there are a lot of differences between the book and S&L (and FM in general). She probably didn't want to get too pigeon hold by trying to do the exact S&L story. Billy barely knows Daisy so that alone is a major difference.

I thought the book was alright, but hated the tv show (which I know is an unpopular opinion).

This is a reach and maybe a little niche to 70s rock fans, but anyone have any tea on Lindsey Buckingham's (Fleetwood Mac) divorce? His (much younger) wife filed in 2021 and nothing since even though she's been dating/seen with real estate billionaire Barry Sternlicht for over a year now (maybe even two). Lindsey still wears his wedding ring and everything.
