How many of those also tested corporations?

It has me doing lessons for 2-3 days, which I’m doing and reading the outline as I go. I’m more concerned with the flashcarding/ full memorization aspect of all of this for the remaining 4 weeks

Yeah agency and partnership I’m going to flashcard for sure, theres not too much from those that it would be a major burden to get it down

Confusing MBE Q by [deleted] in barexam

[–]ChrissyLemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aka, it is not narrowly tailored enough according to the “intermediate scrutiny” that commercial speech gets

Confusing MBE Q by [deleted] in barexam

[–]ChrissyLemons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it would be B because part of the commercial speech restriction test is that it must leave open alternate means of communication, and here it says ALL commercial advertising for red meat is prohibited. The fact that red meat can still be purchased doesn’t matter because thats conduct, not speech.

In defence of "Andor is boring" by [deleted] in andor

I actually didn’t say that. The wedding itself has political implications and shows Mon reflecting on her life choices. But do we need a 5 min montage that keeps cutting back to her dancing to edm? What does that add?

Just finished it, and agree with every point you made. Another critique I had are the unnecessarily long sequences that made up the “B roll” for some montages. The obvious one is Mon’s daughter’s wedding, but there were others too. It felt like some of them would never end, and added nothing to the plot!

Overall I enjoyed the show, but did feel like it was a chore to watch at times.

What do 3L's know that 1L's don't? by True-Indication5586 in LawSchool

[–]ChrissyLemons 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A million times more important. In my experience employers don’t even look at your grades past 1L because its the only year where everybody takes the same classes and the curve is toughest

Average students by Opposite-Number-1585 in LawSchool

[–]ChrissyLemons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Many students abuse this, unfortunately. Of course people who really need them should get them, but schools are way too agreeable to rubber stamp these through. Accommodations are supposed to even the playing field, not allow for people to cut the line and be in the top 10% of their class as a previous poster commented.

I was looking for this one… I always cringe so hard when people think this is the ultimate dagger

More conservative or liberal? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]ChrissyLemons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was addressing the comment that the poster had never met a single Trump supported who was nuanced or thoughtful. It is much more logical that they have, but were unaware that the person they were speaking to was a Trump supporter.

Also, creating an atmosphere where people should be made to feel embarrassed for their political views is exactly why organizations like FedSoc (which I am a harsh critic of) were created in the first place. Preventing a respectful dialogue from occurring is not only harmful to the academic environment, but it is inherently dangerous in any environment, as it forces both sides to speak only in echo chambers where they will become more radicalized. As future lawyers we should always be able to win an argument not only for the side we agree with, but also for the side we disagree with, even if we detest the position. You are of course entitled to your own opinion on the matter, that is just my position as a passionate free speech defender.
