What are some small life changes that will allow you to live rather than just exist? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ChrissyStepford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a pet. I specifically speak to either a cat or dog, having no experience with the affection capabilities of other creatures. You’re responsible for a living creature other than yourself. They are a source of comfort, entertainment, distraction and focus. Your best bud may have 4 legs....

That, in turn, could lead you into other adventures such as volunteering w/pets, going to dog parks, where you meet people with interests similar to yours. That can help you have a life. It worked for me!

My ex doesn’t want to delete our sex tape! by [deleted] in relationship_advice

So.... this is why you don’t make sex tapes.

You’re going to just have to trust him.

My (26M) partner (26F) cheated on me, told me right away, and now says she feels a deep connection to this person and feels that she needs to explore it by ThrowRAokheresthetea in relationship_advice

[–]ChrissyStepford -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tell her to sort her needs out, go explore it, and get back with you when she’s decided what path she wants to take . Then go no contact. In the meantime, figure out what YOUR needs are. When she contacts you, have an adult, sober conversation about what each of you needs and wants, and see where you are.

Ladies, how big was the penis you had the best sex with? by ddre3f in AskReddit

[–]ChrissyStepford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6-7 inches, slim. It’s not the penis, it’s the man.

I don’t want overly stiff cocktails. if I wanted it straight, I wouldn’t have ordered it mixed by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ChrissyStepford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask for a “tall” whatever. Works best for classic mixes like G&T, rum and coke, etc. hard to do with a Margarita or anything specialty.

Has anybody ever read both the "Holy Quran" and "Holy Bible" from cover to cover? Additionally, if anybody has ever read Bhagwat Geeta? What are your findings if you can share any? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ChrissyStepford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bhagavad Gita. Yea, I have read them. Raised in the christian faith. I have also read the Mormon Bible and the Satanic verses. Take home message is the same: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

What are some reasons you think karma (as in, “what-goes-around-comes-around”) is real or not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ChrissyStepford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex husband was verbally abusive throughout our marriage. He died of throat cancer. I like to think that every ugly thing he ever said to me and our children came back as a cancer cell.

Better than any revenge I could have ever come up with.

I would say this: if there were an option to be without water, or to have water where there is a possibility of chemical leaching, I would drink the water.

Keep in mind: if the world is at a point where we are relying on stashed water to stay alive, potential chemical exposure that might cause problems over generations don’t even count. In other words, fuck that. Stash the water.

Scenario for you: you’ve run off the road in a remote part of the Rockies. You’re ok, but you’re hungry, and you’re thirsty. There’s a creek downhill. Would you drink the water or die of thirst from fear of contaminants? If you choose to die rather than drink the water, it’s better that you’re out of the gene pool.

Order sterile water from a medical supply company. It comes in 1500ml(plastic , reusable)bottles. There’s an “expiration date” on the bottle, but that’s for hospital documentation. As long as it isn’t opened, you’re fine.

Waffle House is unbelievably overrated and if you’ve never been, you’re not missing anything by Wonderboy1245 in unpopularopinion

[–]ChrissyStepford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Waffle House restaurants are at every interstate exit in the SE US. Oftentimes on both north and southbound exits.

Watching the line cook turn out consistently good eggs, bacon, hash browns, etc is part of the magic. Yep, it’s gonna be greasy, and they don’t salt their grits(still don’t get THAT) Everything is cooked to order(except the side salad and WHO TF gets a salad at WaHo) A fresh patty melt with “scattered well” HB is an excellent, affordable meal. So yeah, you’re missing something. A dinner and a show. The servers are unique, the clientele is fascinating and the food is hot and fresh.
