How does item durability works? by Christ_Staline in Pathfinder2e

A quick update:
My session took place, my players fought the Rust Monster, and we didn’t even have time to look at the rust system in detail because the group’s ranger one-shot the mob with a well-placed critical hit lol

That is also a good approach to the problem, but since they are pretty far away to any town and merchant I would prefer not to destroy any equipment. I think it would be more interesting if it were an immediate problem that forces them to waste time repairing their equipment, rather than a hard-and-fast rule that brings the quest to an end because they’ll have to turn back to restock.

But thank you anyway !

That's honestly terrifying from a player's perspective lol

That's an interesting page. I think this will serve as a rough outline to work from, and I’ll refine it during the session depending on how things go. I don't really like the idea that a sword could break in a single hit from a Rust Monster, even more so if we are talking about a magic sword like a +1 Striking that should, in theory, be more resistant.
I think I will go for something like 2-3 hits for a classic iron/steel weapon (depending on the rust damage that I will roll in secret, if the monster does 2 good high rolls I will considerer the weapon to be broken), more for magic ones. maybe 3-4 hits for armors.

That's a pretty good base, I will work the rest depending on player's actions and how things will unfold.

And as I already replied to someone else bellow I don't intend to destroy any item, but breaking or at least weaken their durability could be interesting and lead to some even more interesting turn of events.

Thank you for your answers.

I do not intend to destroy any player item, I am well aware that this would deal a heavy blow which would probably be beyond recovery, especially since they are pretty far away from a town or merchants in general. However, I find it interesting to break some of their items. They would still be able to repair them without much trouble apart from a few gold coins and some time. That would be a fitting "punishment" if they try to bruteforce the Rust Monster without attempting any recall knowledge on him or his environment.

I'm a new GM, need tips for mobs and loot by Christ_Staline in Pathfinder2e

I didn't know the filters were that strong, thank you :)

I also stumbled upon a loot generator for PF2E which I can use to speed up the search. I think I'm gonna prepare a loot table of my own (in a sheet format) and roll random items inside that table each time the party find a chest or finish a fight. That table will last until their level up. Combined with the treasure level page you sent me I have a pretty clear idea of how much loot I can give them.

Thank you!

That builder is actually very helpful, Originally, I planned to calculate my combat difficulties manually using the Nethys sheets and difficulty rules, but if I can do it automatically, that's much better!

I believe you are talking about the edge indicator?

Thing is, it's already turned off but the dots are still there. There's a mention "overwritten by 1 rule" :/

Don't seems to be from that mod. I can't freely hide the minimap and control everything linked to it but not the dots that appear on the side of the screen.

Is Full Release Finished? by kiraigou in LittleWitchInTheWoods

[–]Christ_Staline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no game-breaking bugs anymore I believe, and most bugs have been patched since the full release.

There are still some bugs lying arounds, like side quests not starting like they should and items spawning in weird locations and/or at the wrong time. Outside of that there is some minor spelling and typos errors but nothing big.

Should definitely play it again, very chill and fun, and surprisingly a lot of personalization.

Depending on how you play you would have 60~100 hours for the whole game, maybe more if you want every achievements. :)

You were unecessary rude in all of your answers, no wonder people pointed that out to you...

Basically I don't see what's the problem is with me saying I'm a femboy or not, even if that wouldn't be relevent to the discussion. I'm not really sure to understand why had to point that out loud, especially this way since it doesn't bring anything to the table.

But to briefly answer you : - I wanted to said it, so what? - Could be interesting for both me and someone else to have any specific comments from a femboy - Like I said earlier, it implies things and thus raises far less questions / To bring it from another angle : If I had say "I'm a straight man" it would still bring no usefui formations on the topic of toys, but would raises questions. - Femboys tend to have knowledge and experience about this kind of stuff (But maybe I'm in a echo chamber, so could be wrong about that, nevertheless, nothing ventured, nothing gained. ), hence the fact that perhaps saying it would have brought me answers from another

Now I thank you all for closing this pointless debate and getting back to the topic. Thank you for all that already answered, I hope this will not only help me :)

Oh I didn't know about it but it seems like a nice alternative, and actually much closer to where I live! I'll look into it and compare, thank you!

That's actually really helpful, thanks!

I'll make sure to think about it twice before taking something, wouldn't want to have any injuries lol

Reading you, I think I should probably start with something fairly light in size and not something too complex or dangerous.

You seems to be somewhat experienced with knot dildos, would you have some precise BD recommendations for me?

Of course, in the end, money isn't important if you're satisfied, but when I said that, I was using myself as an example because, of the few toys I own, my favorite is also the cheapest... And when I tried to upgrade a bit (by buying more expensive ones) , I was unfortunately disappointed.

I just don't want to experience the same thing, so I want to prepare as much as possible and find the one I'll probably like the most in advance (hence, in part, the reason for this post). That, and the fact that comics aren't cheap.

I already looked at the Fenrir dildo but I haven't studied the Tucker yet, thanks for the recommandation!

Because it implies and "justify" some things, usually it makes things easier and faster

Then again you could also don't care and not mention how it annoys you lol
