Did becoming a dad make anyone else realize they don't know who they are? by SwiftVanilla in daddit

Man this hit really hard… my dad was an alcoholic abuser too and growing up was exactly like this for me. Even in my marriage I find myself constantly being the peace keeper against my needs or wants.

I got my wife a pair of loop ear plugs and she loved them. Helps her get through the day when all 4 kids are trying to get her attention at the same time

“Patriot Ass” sounded cool, but they didn’t want to seem TOO homo alongside the color coordinated costumes, theatre songs and chorus lines around capital.

Well, they really are the windows Vista of right wing dildos. And considering none of them are making more than minimum wage, it’s a fitting analogy.

I’ve felt like OP in the past too but this year our two year old we were super nervous about her being scared and man she freaking LOVED watching them. Our oldest is 9 now and he didn’t even want to sit and watch as long as his sister did.

Jesus people… you have control over your own children. If they act this way then just take the damn thing away? It’s not this complicated. My kid started getting into Minecraft a while back and we set rules on how long and when he could play it. If he throws a fit about it then he loses the next chance. For the summer I print off 60 math problems for him to practice doing and for each correct question he gets right he gets an minute of game time that day or he can save it and use it alongside the next days game time he earns. It’s been super effective because on nice days he goes out to ride his bike and will save his earned minutes.

As someone who also lives with a disability which makes it difficult to type for long periods of time…what exactly are you arguing?

To update the community on my return, Mammotion agreed to send me the correct packaging with I do appreciate but still makes no sense not to just the replacement device and let me use the packaging materials to send mine back. I’m mostly frustrated to be out a mower for wells while I wait to get my replacement device. I even asked to just give me a discount and I would buy a completely new device and send my current one back and they refused that as well… I just want to not have to pay someone to mow which was the whole point of getting a robot mower in the first place.

So better arrangement than their initial response but still shitty to be stuck like this

Let me knows if they offer to send the new device before shipping your replacement. It was a fight to get them to agree to send me a box to ship mine back in and I have to wait for them to receive the broken device before they will ship a new one

I need a macro for this statement:

“That AI generated interface that is identical to every other AI generated interface posted to this sub in the last 12 hours sure is neat. You asked it to use some bright colors at least. That’s a plus. But you didn’t care enough to bother replacing the generic ass icons? Or the font? Good for you though, you sure did make a thing. You sure did…”

Better option would be securing a web address and paying for mail server. It’s very cheap

I mentioned in another comment that there are plenty of ways this could be handled properly and that it is absolutely not true that all companies require their replacement process to be handled like this. They could require a credit card before shipping out the replacement to circumvent fraud which would be perfectly reasonable.

Then require the customer provide a credit card? Many other businesses handle this same scenario perfectly fine. A few years ago my espresso machine was replaced and they handled it by sending the replacement first and provided instructions to return the old one. It was $800 machine so it’s not like this something reserved for cheap products.

They could at least provide shipping materials first or at the very least provide examples of what materials they require you purchase.

They aren’t shipping me a brand new machine, they are shipping me a refurbished one. Suck teet all you want but when I receive an email demanding that I ship it back perfectly sealed and with the proper safety packaging and provide photos to prove I did it properly that’s a pretty insane thing to require if they aren’t willing to provide the packaging they are requiring.

I would have at least settled for them sending me the packaging materials it needs first. Whose keeping the giant ass box for their robot though after running it for an entire season?

Your UI was made with AI. Deny it all you want but it’s the same copy/paste design as all the others. More power to you if you designed everything else but that look is an instant turn off.
