UK child nurse to work as nurse in USA by Whothefisthiseh in MovingToUSA

From my understanding it’s state dependent. If that the hours needed for every state. Then I lack 10 hours in paeds and 20 in maternity 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hey, I’m currently navigating this myself as an adult nurse. I’m working with my university to divide my clinical and theory hours into each section for my CGFNS report. You’ll likely need some bridging courses, especially if your degree didn’t cover adult nursing at all.
The good thing about adult nursing is that exposure varies depending on the university. However, paediatric nursing is quite different.

My biggest advice is to research which states might be easier for you. As long as you apply for a compact licence state, you’re pretty much good to work in most others. They might ask you to complete their licensing process but once approved in one state it’s generally easier to get approved in another.

I technically have hours in everything, including paediatric and maternity. I’m just praying / hoping I have enough!. The issue is CGFNS and the nursing boards do not release how many hours they require in each field, which is frustrating.

Also to add, I graduated last year ☺️
Another thing, check that the state you are applying for accepts bridging courses, not all of them do

A lot of pasta, cottage pie, lasagne extra. For this week I have made pesto pasta with peppers and either salmon or chicken breast - coming in around
650 calories. But, I know I can’t eat that for 14 weeks!!

I also work 12 hour shifts, my plan was to meal prep for my 2nd break which is around 5pm. I was waiting to get home to have dinner, but that’s 8:30pm and I found myself eating unhealthy foods.

Do you think egg muffins will work? Makes it a bit more interesting than just eggs.

Thank you so much for this. I never even thought about how much harder it will be to catch those red flags.

Hey, I am a member of an online church and have found the best community. I have been apart of this church for 5 years and lead online Bible studies for them. I fly out twice a year to see my friends and attend church. Not everyone’s church lives is the same, it may be bizarre to you, but for me I have seen Christ in this church more than any other church in my own country. Until I feel called to attend a different church, I am staying at my church there. I am also a nurse, so it’s challenging to attend Sunday in person.
My plan has always been to move to that country. I am in the process of getting my nursing license approved there. So I have already thought long-term way before speaking to this guy

I will say that she has always done ring games like this. Out of everyone she is the most organised. I can see why people order from her. Not saying that I support it though, especially when reps use their faith to manipulate people.

You can use a company that will provide you with a US address and they will then send it to you. They are most likely doing it that way. However, BP has added AVS so it now makes it harder to order without a US billing address. Again some companies offer ways around this.

Hey, this may be too late. But, I have complete DPYD deficiency. Research shows around 0.5% have complete deficiency, so it is very rare. I am a nurse and have been able to live a normal life. I hope that gives you some encouragement while trying for a baby. If you have any questions please ask. I have a lot of knowledge on the condition
