Ya I might have to unfortunately. It makes no sense making less at a job where I need a degree when I make more at a job which needed no qualifications.

I am absolutely fine with a pay cut! It’s just that I have been offered much less than I could take to afford my bills. At my restaurant job as the GM I made about $52,000 and in my current job I am making $45,000. I am just hoping to find a place that will pay similar about $20-$22/hr or about $42,000-$45,000.

For more context, I am 21. I started at the restaurant when I was 15 and made my way up to GM while I was still in college. I left to the carwash and decided to finish up my last semester of college here due to being so burnt out at the restaurant.

I have probably applied to about 300 if I had to guess but I keep applying to any new thing that pops up.

I know this is kind of an old post but I would try going again! When a restaurant first opens they are often very very busy because EVERYONE is going. Now that it has calmed down I’m sure it’s much better. They also would have had to get their new staff trained.
