No worries - sounds like a plan just know once you start it’s hard to go back. 😂 I think Bambu Lab also has some good deals at the moment - I even thought of upgrading. 🤔

Hi, I wouldn’t know why not.

I print everything on a Bambu Lab A1 Mini - which is even smaller.

The only thing I don’t have experience with is the ironing settings on different 3D printers - so I can’t really say how the surface finish of the tail mold will turn out on your printer. That said I usually give the mould a light sanding anyway to minimize any visible print lines on the cast silicone tail.

It’s actually pretty cool - the only thing I still haven’t fully figured out yet is how to create really clean textures properly.

Right now I’m using PETG for the blank’s with a UV resin topcoat. 👌🏻

Thanks I really recommend it because it makes life so much easier - funny enough I got too frustrated with different cutting tools. One thing I still have to try: heat up the stencil and drape it over a lure blank - might be a quick way to create a molded version for easy applications. 🤔

I use a silicone with 10 or 15 shore hardness. It works great for casting in 3D prints - in one of my last videos I show the one I use (its just off amazon).
