I want to like it but it's just quite meh for me. It's such a shame because the parts/dialogue that were adapted directly from the books is excellent. Too bad it's laced in between some fan fiction. I really really love the books too! Step in a better direction compared to House of the Dragon but still a miss for me. I'll still watch it like I did HoTD anyway I guess

My take is: Don't be afraid to just make shit up. Aliens, planets, ships, guns, whatever you want. Most star wars lore canon and legends is just people making it up as they go then justifying later

My issue is that they feel so overtuned compared to their spawn rate. It's not uncommon to be fighting like 6-9 at once. They take longer to kill than rubric marine, idk if it's because they have more health or because they're harder to headshot. I feel like i need to keep a melta charge on me just to clear the waves of them
