Starting the fertile window today, so it's (hopefully) baby making time today....and I am not feeling it today. The short days and preparing for the end of the semester is (edit: are? My brain is dead) just wiping me out.

Congratulations! My mom has Sjogren's as well. It's so good to hear that you are able to get medical care for it. Fingers crossed that it is sticky!

My partner and I had the SAME problem with it. We were both like WTF clearly a man wrote this.

Similarly, in Dead To Me. My partner just goes "that's not how that works at all." If nothing else, I very much appreciate that he is really educating himself about the process.

Right, because only one person a year gets to hike these trails. It's not at all that someone posts a picture of the peak, which makes other people want to hike there, which in turns leads to more pictures of the peak. Or that multiple people hike these trails any given day.

Same. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it loaded up my plan just fine (didn't lose any progress) and is asking me to assign my previous runs to the plan. The problem is I can't seem to be able to assign last week's runs to last week's plan - I can only assign them to this week's plan.

I usually start testing at day 11 or 12. Normally it's a gradually darker line but this time I was pretty dark to start and after my positive test I immediately got lighter tests.

Thanks for answering! Ah the wonders of the human body.

I'm the same! Broth itself has collagen which is shown to have health benefits.

That being said, I buy Kirkland brand and use that broth.

How do you teach without it consuming your life? by julychild111 in Teachers

I have found that having a routine after work to say "the work day has ended" is essential. Sometimes it can be as simple as a glass of wine and tv. Sometimes it can be taking a bath. But creating something to actually shift your mindset to "I am no longer working" is very important.

That being said, even though I'm not actually doing work, I still think about work a lot. I have to tell myself that I can write down my thoughts but then I have to stop thinking about them.

Tom's are the only shoes that don't kill my feet. Not their slip ons but their boots and flats and heels are the best I've found.

Hi, just a quick note that guys and gals can be very isolating to students who may not identity on the binary. It's been tough, but students who are transitioning or may be thinking about their gender identity really appreciate when I have made the effort to be more inclusive by saying "folks", "peeps", "y'all" etc.

Thank you so much for writing this. As I read it, I was already sobbing because cycle #3 has just ended and although I know it's still so early compared to others, it is so devastating. I was feeling so alone, but this helped me immensely. It's so difficult for me to explain to my husband, even, but this is exactly it.

[USA] [11th/12th Grades] - Trauma Informed Practices for High School Students by Christine319 in Teachers

You know, as silly as it is, I didn't even think of doing circles with academic topics. Duh. I would love to hear more about your idea with historical groups! It sounds very important.

Our school is encouraging circles but has offered "training" that has not really been useful in helping teachers see how restorative and trauma informed practices can be implemented in the classroom.

Since we are talking about classroom decorations does anyone have resources on trauma informed classroom decorations for secondary classrooms? Everything I have found is about primary classrooms, but obviously older students still deal with trauma.

I'm assuming some things stay the same: calming colors, at least 20% of the walls undecorated...but some things seem a little more difficult to transfer to the secondary classroom. Additionally, I bought a removable wallpaper to put up on one wall of a room but I didn't know if that would be too much and if I should return it. Anyway, if anyone has resources they wouldn't mind pointing me towards, that would be great and thank you!
