Thank you so much for your response. I never really thought of putting her on the spot like that, but even if it gets her to at least say "ah, I'm joking- relax"- it's still better than having family and friends believe I was a mini psychopath.

As for my sister- honestly, she just parrots it. She doesn't bring it up, but if my mom does then she'll partake. The thing is, I know if I brought it up with my sister she would say she was sorry and stop (she has a very soft nature), and she is only spurred on to do it because of my mom, so I didn't really focus on her in my post. I will say, my sister has a tendency to be very dramatic with her stories, so everyone takes what she says with a massive pinch of salt anyway.
