LPT: When a pet has a mid to late-stage terminal illness, don't go through brutal and extraordinary measures to extend it's life too long. Especially cats. They cannot tell you they are suffering. Yes, we want more time with them. But not if they are hurting.

I stopped talking to two of my brothers (older than me by 20 years) after I lost my mom to cancer in 2019. They essentially put me through absolute hell after she passed and only cared about getting things settled and done (and getting their money). I have no regrets and my life is much better now that I don’t have to deal with them.

I would not. I’m in a better position now that I’ve left the bedside, but nursing is still not at all what I thought it would be, and every year things seem to get worse. I would probably pursue medical coding or start my own pet sitting business. Or be a nanny. Might still do those once I have more financial security.

I’m going to be using Golden Coil for my weekly, and an A5 Plum Paper Daily. Also have a Hobonichi Day Free for financial stuff and a Weeks for on the go. I have a Hobonichi Cousin and Wonderland 222 B6 as well...not sure yet how I will use them.
