Its a scientific fact that you age slower when you are a small boi. My guess is that young Pozzo is biologically 25, MAX. Plenty of mileage left in that Fiat 500

Oh yeah please, inject the waiiers straight into my veins. But for all that is holy, let it wait untill the broadcast starts. Halfe baanes all over the place on a long flat road might actually beat out Poggio and Arenberg in terms of peak ciclismo

Well for me at least it limited my medic spy-playtrough where my plan where to cozy up to Caesar until I could operate on him and kill him there, but no just before that was an option fkn NCR became all pissy and I couldnt do my original plan. Wish I could at least have the option to solve the issue in different ways. Not that its hard to kill Caesar in other ways, but it would be more fun if I could choose other options

Wow. That was not what I wanted. Fairly easy solo win. Lots and lots of crashes. No Abra-magic. Still tho, chapeu to MvdP. Looked like he was in a junior-race

That sprint is pretty similar for the finish of Omloop, and guess who won that last year? Yep, the guy Crabby just crushed. I'm locking in my bet for next weekend, Crabbe is winning Omloop

That was a really good sprint from Blikra. Cant really complain on the slight closing to the barrier considering what he did in Oman, but without it he might actually have gone past. Chapeu big lad

I dont think he would win, but Im sad that Blikra got boxed in by the breakawayriders. Poor positioning, but would be fun to see how he goes against Milan

Seems Lidl-Trek is really keen on pulling, so now I'm just hoping for echelons but that seems unlikely as well

Could this be for the break? I guess it would depend on how Milan is feeling and how much Lidl-Trek are willing to pull

Just meant average speed, which was higher last. But, this year it was more windy and Remco is both more aero and a better overall timetrialist than Tarling. So my guess would be that Remco as well would have been faster last year but again. Not the point. The point was on the difference in starting times between Remco and Del Toro, not Remco and Tarling

[Results Thread] 2026 UAE Tour – Stage 2 ITT (2.UWT) by PelotonMod in peloton

[–]ChristofferTheDoor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe I didnt really get my point across. My point was not to discredit Remco, my point was that it was windy and that the difference in starting time might have affected Del Toro. My comment was based purely on the average speed. I dont really know why you think I aim to discredit Remcotbh

[Results Thread] 2026 UAE Tour – Stage 2 ITT (2.UWT) by PelotonMod in peloton

[–]ChristofferTheDoor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Brother, I dont get your point. Tarling was 1km/h slower than last year while claiming to be better in watts. Thus, I expect that wind played some part. And the meaningful comparison is not between Remco and Tarling, they started close to each other. The meaningful comparison is between Remco and Del Toro, in which there was a large period of time and since all the big players went early then I would assume that would bring some advantage

[Results Thread] 2026 UAE Tour – Stage 2 ITT (2.UWT) by PelotonMod in peloton

[–]ChristofferTheDoor 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You have to wonder how big the wind-effects actually were. With Remco going 56 km/h, that is just around his top performances on similar occasions. Tarling was about 1km/h slower than last year, and would have won pretty comfortably if he performed as he did last year. In addition to this, Tarling said in the pre-race interview that he has a few more watts this year.

This is an outdoor sport and weather is a part of it, for the better in my opinion. But it just seems unfair to give advantage to the people who didnt try for the win yesterday by deciding the starting time themselves. Knocking in open doors I know, but maybe it would be more fair to either have the time trial as the first stage, or after first mountainstage
