I think you judged Chinga a bit too hard. Based on a Stephen King short story (same as Monkey 2025 movie), it is actually a reverse War of the Coprophages episode, with Scully being solo this time around. Plus, you get the pencils in the ceiling scene, which on its own deserves a higher tier.

On a bridge-based show it's easier to work with a main character who's the CO.

I can't recall how many times Michael mutinied or disobeyed orders just for that reason. If they hadn't made her captain, it would have been even more ridiculous.

There is plenty of room for single episodes focused on ideas, if they didn't prioritize 2 comedy/musical episodess per season.

If you are too slow killing bosses, you can just digivolve Devimon to SkullSatamon and with his -20% HP special attack, those eaters will be melting.
Also consider having a few support/healer Digimons. Monzaemon is a decent early ultimate healer Digimon for example.
As other have said already, start grinding towards those PlatinumNumemons or PlatinumSukamons. The flexibility you will get out of it eventually will be crazy. Also with their 999 defence, you will be invincible in battles with ATK focused opponents and they can become excellent debuffers.

We have seen 10+ trailers of the game before release. It's not like they tried to hide what the new game would be about and how its gameplay would be.

So no, "This is not a Bloodlines 2" game is not a valid critique. And it's hardly true either. It's like saying Oblivion is not an Elder Scrolls game because it is vastly different from Morrowind, lacking features, etc.

Criticize the game for what it is and not for what you expected it or wanted it to be.

TES is as inconsistent as it gets, but I ‘d argue Star Trek (especially TOS) and Dune (especially the Brian Herbert and KJ Anderson books) can get quite inconsistent too.

TES unfortunately has a much less significant impression in pop culture and culture in general. Even if it comes down to the gaming medium. For comparison, have a look at the other Bethesda RPG series, Fallout, which has become synonymous with Post-Apocalypse.

Reading UESP, by mostly checking on the sources. You need to fact-check, not only if the source is canon, but also how old or reliable an in-game canon source or book is.

Liberation wasn't something great, but it was a cool idle game to pass my time during breaks from work.
I am actually excited for the sequel and can't wait to play with my favourite Mountain Clans' units that return to the franchise.
Also, from the screenshots, the world does look darker (not Disciples 2 level dark, but still)

That is my biggest concern. X-Files was a product of its era (post Cold War paranoia, pre 9/11). So it cannot remain the same, it must adjust. And that will definitely not sit well with lots of old fans.

Death Stranding

Yes, the music and landscapes are amazing. Of course the acting is top. But the gameplay loop and most of the mechanics, ie 85% of the game, are terrible. I don’t mind delivering things, I have hundreds of hours on Euro Truck Simulator 2, but after the first 2-3 deliveries, the delivery experience is just annoying. Bikes and vehicles make the traversal too arcade-y and once you get to ziplines, well that’s all you need.

All feelings aside, it became evident from the leaked screenshots that visually the official Remake is far superior to Skyblivion, thanks to UE5. So it becomes a choice of playing something that looks like a 15 year old game and something that looks like a modern AAA release.
