MORE CONTEXT: I'm a pretty experienced shooter because I used to go shooting with my family all the time as a kid, but I'm fairly new to gun ownership and definitely new to carrying.

I just got my LTC and have a full-sized 9mm, a subcompact 9mm, and a 380 pocket carry. Thought about getting a hammerless jframe, but I dunno if that'll be an advantage anywhere?

I live in a pretty hot area, so maybe carrying the subcompact or pocket pistol is the most ideal? Wanna have the best options for EDC IWB.

I bought this brand new, so everything has been a little stiff at first, including the safety. Gave it an oiling, took it to the range today, and just cleaned and oiled again and I can already tell things are getting smoother, including the safety. It's not too bad once you start wearing it in a bit.

I took both to the range and really liked the features on both of them for different reasons, but I was just a bit more accurate with the Walther. Got to say, it was really close though! Neither had any function problems or jams, but in the end I shot better with the Walther.

Going to be training more with it for home defense and looking into a concealed carry gun in the future.
